Epoxy modified silicone oil is a new kind of organic silicon material which is grafted by polymethyl siloxane and epoxy-alkane. This product has the properties of polymethylsiloxane and epoxy-alkane.
The structure of polymethylsiloxane has the following excellent properties:
A. Superior surface lubrication performance: when used as a surface primer, it can give the treated surface excellent smoothness;
B. Low surface tension: as an internal addition agent, it can better improve the internal stress of materials and solve the problems of brittle and crack materials;
C. Good soft performance;
D, high temperature resistant, low temperature resistance, can be in 60 ℃ ~ + 250 ℃ within the scope of use;

Some of the epoxy groups introduced in the side chain of this product show the following characteristics:

1. Used as softener and smoothing agent for cotton, wool, silk, linen fabric and products: it has a good smoothing performance, which makes the fabric and products have feathery silky feel, and it is washable and non-yellowing. Therefore, this product is another kind of soft and smooth agent which is different from the amino silicone oil.
2. Used as shampoo additive and soft and smooth treatment of hair products such as wigs.
3. It is used as an auxiliary agent in the production of spandex, and it is used to treat the fiber of spandex, which can prevent the adhesion between spandex fibers.
4. Used as an internal additive for epoxy resin material to improve the internal stress of epoxy resin products and enhance its flexibility, so as to make it not brittle and crack.
