Character: Blue trapezoid crystal; density 2.284 g / cm 3. The five water copper sulfate can lose the water gradually at different temperatures, lose 4 molecular water at 110, and lose 5 molecule water at 150. Anhydrous copper sulfate is white powder, and its density is 3.603 grams / centimeter 3. It is soluble in water and 25 degrees in water, and its solubility is 23.05 grams / 100 grams of water, which is insoluble in ethanol and ethyl ether. It has strong water absorbency and blue after absorbing water. When copper sulfate is heated to 650 C, it is decomposed into CuO.
